Remembering my friend and colleague from Angels Radio AM 830 KLAA, Joe Francisi. Your honesty, your candor, and your sense of humor will stay with me buddy. Thank you for the good times we spent working together!

I remember lots of hilarity behind the scenes running boards and shows together. He was always ready to laugh, even when things weren't so funny, thats what I will carry on from Joe the most. And the stories, lots of great stories! RIP buddy. My thoughts to his family, he LOVED you more than anything and spoke most proudly of you. It humbled me each time to hear him speak of you.

WWE Creative Writer Joe Franciosi passed away

From Yahoo News, Joe Franciosi, a former WWE creative writer who worked with the company in 2010, passed away due to a heart attack on Friday. Joe once did a segment with Ted DiBiase where he took out a fake eye. He was also responsible for pitching the William Shatner segment where Shatner performed his own version of WWE theme songs.

Recently, Joe did a creative for Championship Wrestling from Hollywood. He also started out with Rick Bassman's UPW promotion in California.

We worked hundreds of hours together at Angels Radio AM 830 in Anaheim, and it was always a good time at work when Joe was around.

Last night my car was dead. I waited 2 hours for AAA to arrive and jump start it, the technician said it appeared someone tried to steal my battery!

Last shift. Five good yeArs.

Danny Hauger's photo.

I changed course from Southern California and headed for Lodi, and this morning, after fixing the battery, drove 6 hours to my last AM 830 shift in Anaheim.

These are my thoughts in audio form, from August 3rd, 2014.

Thank you Angels Radio AM 830, Travis Rodgers, Roger Lodge, Jeane Blunt, and the whole team!

Cut up a few of the favorite fans today interviewing about their love for the LA Kings (sometimes including Travis Rodgers and DeMarcus Cousins).

Special thanks to Chris, Daniel, Eric, Nick, and Taylor! You were all great!
So much fun talking with fans and throwing in the occasional trap question #AM830
Would have preferred #Sacramento before the #Kings. But I do enjoy the confetti.

Parade stopped right by our feet.

Radio Interview Notes– Salvation Army – Danny Hauger

WHO WE ARE

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) is a Christian, non-profit organization

committed to providing rehabilitation to individuals dependent on drugs and alcohol. The ARC

recognizes that a person’s physical, psychological and spiritual needs must be addressed before they can make any real progress towards their recovery.

The Salvation Army maximizes donations by using 84 cents of every dollar donated to provide direct services to help the most people in need. As a result, The Salvation Army is the charity that is doing the most good with contributions of money, time, and resources.

WHAT WE OFFER

The ARC, an entity of The Salvation Army, provides a highly effective six to twelve month

spiritually based substance abuse program. Admission is voluntary, and participants who find

themselves in need of The Salvation Army’s rehabilitation facility and benefits receive services at no

charge.

Program participants (known as beneficiaries) receive a medical evaluation, nourishing food,

housing, structured counseling, and opportunities to participate in sports and other recreational

activities.

WHO BENEFITS

Individuals who benefit from the ARC program come from all walks of life and backgrounds. Some were affluent professionals; others are high school dropouts. Some are referred by the judicial systems; others by a family member.

But they are not the only ones who benefit. For every person struggling with an addiction, at least six (6) others are affected. These include children, siblings, friends, spouses and parents.

HOW OUR PROGRAM IS FUNDED

The Salvation Army ARC relies on the generosity of the community for donations of usable goods to support rehabilitation programs. ARC expenses are funded solely from the revenue generated though our Family Thrift Store operations.

· When you call 1-800-SA-Truck to schedule a donation, your generosity becomes a life changing presence in the community!

HOW YOU CAN HELP

· DONATE - SHOP – AND DONATE AGAIN!

· Scout locations for us!

o DONATION DRIVES, SHOW DRIVES, EWASTE, and more!

o The Salvation Army needs collection sites throughout the area. Our objective is to place collection centers in high traffic locations not only to receive donations, but to provide a valuable service to the community.

· As more attention is placed on recycling, there is no better way for your business to be recognized than as a conscientious organization committed to the environment by supporting the re-use of gently used items.Call 1-800-SA-TRUCK (1-800-728-7825) to discuss a pick up of your items or to find out the nearest drop off location.

· WE HAVE EMPTY BEDS!

· Applicants with a desire to get help may be referred by families, friends, courts, clergy and community leaders or may simply call the Intake Office at 1-800-SA-TRUCK (728-7825) to make an appointment or get more information about local ARC programs.

Shortened version, just the end of my last show on AM 830!

It was a nice send-off today from Roger Lodge, James Allen, and the Sports Lodge. I thank all of the listeners and supporters through the last four years. Plenty of Cal State Fullerton calls today celebrating the end of tenure in The Sports Lodge for me, thanks to all of you!

I also got a shot at hosting the show for a few minutes after some technical difficulties. I got a moment to honor Michael Phelps, I bashed the guy quite a bit, but he deserves respect for his outstanding accomplishments.

I look forward for the good work to come as Community Relations Manager for The Salvation Army. Contact me if you have ideas for places to pick up goods, run donation drives, or offices that may have goods to donate! Plus James thinks Lance Armstrong was the first man on the moon.

Hope you enjoy the podcast as much as I did, and the past year, and the past four at AM 830, and the past 9 in radio...  Thanks for all the support on Twitter as well @DannyHauger.

Hey baseball fans, things are shaping up in the race for the MLB Playoffs. Need some washington nationals tickets? Check out this link from Ticket America for some great deals on excellent seats! Planning some baseball time in Ohio, there are also great cincinnati reds mlb tickets available. Visiting Texas for some action, you can find some ballpark fun and houston astros tickets at that link. Enjoy a ballgame this summer everyone! Plenty of fun to go around the diamond with.

The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Centers provide spiritual, social and emotional assistance for men and women who have lost the ability to cope with their problems and provide for themselves.

Each center offers residential housing, work, and group and individual therapy, all in a clean, wholesome environment. The physical and spiritual care that program participants receive prepares them to re-enter society and return to gainful employment. Many of those who have been rehabilitated are reunited with their families and resume a normal life.
